François

«"Having worked in the wine industry as a salesman for 15 years already, AIVA allows me to deepen my knowledge and enhance my skills.

There is 1 day of classes per week: this allows me to continue working normally the rest of the time.

Being surrounded by professionals, whether students or professors, is also a plus.»

Guillaume

Elodie

«A trained sommelier, I work as a department manager in a hypermarket. When I learned that an innovative wine academy was going to open, I inquired about coming to take a diploma in addition to my job.

Today, the diploma I am taking allows me to review my knowledge of wine, but also to learn more! Wine knowledge is infinite.

Wine tasting guided by experienced individuals like Yvan Gerber allows for even faster progress.»

Julie

«AIVA offered me the opportunity for a career change, and to undertake training that met my needs.

Coming from the restaurant industry, I wanted to train with and for professionals, in order to be directly qualified in the exciting sector of wine.

"My training, combined with one or more internships, allowed Mr. Yvan Gerber to find me the perfect internship that aligned perfectly with my beliefs and future prospects."»

Maxim

«"Having been passionate about wine for many years, I decided to gradually take the plunge.

However, as the manager of a small business, it was essential that the chosen training allowed me to reconcile my current professional life with my future one, and that is what AIVA made possible.

From my first exchanges with Mr. Yvan Gerber, the educational manager, and Ms. Karine Larchevêque, the administrative manager, I felt listened to and understood in the pursuit of my professional reorientation project.

AIVA's manageable size was also a selection criterion.

These initial positive impressions were quickly confirmed during the first few days of training: high-quality instructors, brand new premises, assistance and support with various administrative obligations as well as in the search for internships…

All of these elements have allowed me to maintain my current professional activity and calmly prepare for the future while acquiring a considerable amount of theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of wine through my internship.»

Sarah

«"Having already had a background in catering and after a season as a sommelier in the south of France, I decided to join AIVA in order to specialize in wine and more specifically sommelier work.

AIVA provides us with technical knowledge about wine and tasting, while also offering us a professional experience through a work-study program. The courses are taught by industry professionals, giving us a real-world perspective on the profession.»

Helen

«"Having been retraining in the restaurant industry for a few years, I wanted to deepen my knowledge in the field of wine and spirits.

The environment, the support staff, and the courses taught by professionals allow me to grow and acquire the necessary knowledge to meet the expectations of an increasingly demanding clientele.»

Alexandra

Emilie

«"As a current student, I am very satisfied with the Academy, both with the courses, the tastings, the availability of the support team, the various events organized and the friendly atmosphere.

Everyone's dedication is evident; even the smallest question is answered in record time. It would be hard to find a more pleasant and motivating place to study the world of wine.»

Valentin

Tom

«Having always worked in the sports field, I gradually wanted to turn towards my passion, to practice the profession of sommelier.

Passionate about Alsace, I am proud to be able to share my experience within a true wine school, the International Wine Academy in Alsace, located in Landersheim, very close to Strasbourg.

During my studies, AIVA provided me with all the necessary knowledge for the role of sommelier, and more specifically for working in the wine and spirits marketing sector. Here, we fully benefit from the experience and expertise of our professors, who are true professionals in the wine industry.»
