  • WSET level 1

    Monday, January 27, 2020

    COMPLETE

    This training, recognized nationally and internationally, is aimed at beginners who are starting out in the wine sector or who are simply passionate about it.
    You will discover the different styles of wines, tasting techniques, and food and wine pairings through sight, smell and taste.

    Thanks to this level, offer you a first approach in the beautiful world of wine!

  • Tasting Evening: The Secrets of Tasting

    TUESDAY, JANUARY 28

    COMPLETE

    This evening will allow you, through 7 selected wines, to discover the techniques and key vocabulary of wine tasting.
    Using your visual, olfactory and gustatory senses, you will be able to describe a wine, and fully appreciate this fascinating world.

    A superb demonstration is proposed to you on January 28th!

  • WSET level 2

    FROM FEBRUARY 4 TO 6

    This nationally and internationally recognized training course is designed for beginner to intermediate profiles.
    You will discover the elaboration of the different styles of wine, the great wine-growing regions, different types of grape varieties, classifications, labelling terms...

    After these 3 days, you will have a solid knowledge base in wines and spirits!

  • Tasting Evening: Les Pépites du Languedoc-Roussillon

    TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 11

    This evening will allow you to discover the different wines of Languedoc-Roussillon through 7 selected wines.
    You will be able to use your visual, olfactory and gustatory senses to discover and describe these wines, thanks to the selection of your Sommelier Yvan.
    Beautiful and large platters of accompaniments will sublimate this moment.

    A superb demonstration is proposed to you on February 11!

  • Tasting Evening: Alsace in all its states!

    TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 25

    This evening will allow you to discover the different wines of Alsace through 7 selected wines.
    By switching from a Riesling to a Pinot Gris, you will be able to use your visual, olfactory and gustatory senses to describe its wines, and thus take pleasure in this fascinating universe.
    Beautiful and large dinner trays will sublimate this moment.

    A superb demonstration is proposed to you on February 25th!

Master 1 Marketing and Sales Wine Marketing and International Trade Courses

MASTER

The Master 1 Marketing and Sales Course Wine Marketing and International Trade was developed in partnership with the Faculty of Marketing and Agrosciences of the University of Haute-Alsace. It is obtained after a one-year training course. This Master's degree is structured to develop the various skills of advanced marketing and sales techniques. The Master 2 Marketing and Sales Course Wine Marketing and International Trade completes this first year of training.

Master

The Master 2 Marketing and Sales Course Wine Marketing and International Trade was developed in partnership with the Faculty of Marketing and Agrosciences of the University of Haute-Alsace. It is obtained after a one-year training course. This Master's degree is structured to develop the various skills of advanced marketing and sales techniques. He completes the Master 1 Marketing and Sales.

The Double Diploma Bac+3

Double Diploma Bac+3 Professional Licence - Higher Diploma in Wines & Spirits

DOUBLE DIPLOMA BAC+3

The Double Diploma Bac+3 Professional Licence - Diplôme Supérieur en Vins et Spiritueux is the result of a collaboration between the IAE Nancy School of Management and the Académie Internationale des Vins en Alsace.

This Double Diploma is awarded: 

  • A Professional License in Beverage Logistics and Marketing
  • A Higher Diploma in Wine and Spirits Knowledge

It is structured to develop the various skills required to manage the wine business from customer research, through sales to tracking shipments in France and around the world.

University Diploma Sommelier-Cavist

University degree

Developed in partnership with the University of Haute-Alsace, the University Diploma of Sommelier - Caviste aims to meet the needs of sales areas with a wide range of wines, spirits and other beverages.

The profession of sommelier - wine merchant covers a very wide field of activity, requiring a high degree of versatility and precise knowledge in wine. This job requires both a transversal approach to skills and a specialisation in a very specific field.

University Diploma Sommelier in Catering

University degree

Developed in partnership with the Stars of Alsace and the University of Haute-Alsace, the University Diploma of Sommelier in Restoration aims to meet the recruitment needs of restaurateurs and professionals in contact with customers who are knowledgeable of the wine-making environment.

The profession of sommelier in the restaurant industry covers a very wide field of activity, requiring a high degree of versatility and advanced general knowledge, from wine making to wine and food pairing.

The Higher Diploma

Superior Diploma Manager Sommelier-Cavist International Course

Higher diploma

The Higher Diploma Manager Sommelier-Caviste International Course, is obtained after a one-year training, alternating or in initial training. This training will allow you to become a qualified sommelier, able to manage a team and trade in wine in France or abroad. It was developed in partnership with VPCF (Wines of Properties and Châteaux de France), and several partners from France and the world.

We suggest you to come and train at AIVA for three days, on a subject of your choice: 

Tasting, oenology, spirits, Commerce, it, management, management...

At each end of training, you will be given a certificate by the Academy, in Sommellerie or in Commerce.

Two Tuesdays a month, in an environment conducive to the discovery of wine, AIVA invites you to a themed tasting evening, from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm in its premises in Landersheim. 

These enriching, interactive, playful and convivial evenings are animated by Yvan your sommelier, mastering with perfection the art of wine.

    The University Diploma of Sommelier in Restoration is the result of a partnership between AIVA and the Stars of Alsace; students do their internships in a Michelin-starred restaurant.

    The Grand Est region has set up a bus service with a stop just outside the Academy to allow students to easily travel to major cities such as Strasbourg.
