Having been separated without being able to break the deadlock in the last tasting, French and international vineyards are preparing their revenge.

International wines have, at times, held their own: Spain and New Zealand have indeed proven their superiority in blind tastings of the same grape variety. On the other hand, Loire Chenin Blancs and fortified wines from Roussillon were almost unanimously outclassed by their South African and Portuguese counterparts. But this is, and should only be, a temporary setback!
