Our educational director Stanislas d'Eyrames, and St\u00e9phane Leyenberger, mayor of the city of Saverne, travelled last week to Binzhou in Schandong, about 400 km south of Beijing.<\/strong>
\nThe objective of this 3-day expedition was threefold. As you will see, the agenda was quite full!\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n
The stay began on September 11 by the signing of the letter of intent for twinning between the city of Saverne and that of Binzhou.<\/strong> St\u00e9phane Leyenberger, mayor of the city of Saverne, was able to meet and exchange ideas with his counterpart Mr. Yu Xiandong, mayor of Binzhou, and Yuan Zhaohui, secretary general of the party for the province of Schandong.
\n This twinning will develop economic, cultural, educational, and tourist exchanges between Saverne and its region, and the Binzhou district (approximately 4 million inhabitants).<\/strong> .<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

On September 12, Stanislas d'Eyrames was invited to the 10th symposium on Sunzi.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sun Tzu, a Chinese general of the 5th century BC, is one of the three great Chinese thinkers, along with Confucius and Lao Tzu. He is famous as the author of a book on military strategy, the oldest known: The Art of War. The work emphasizes that the objective of war is to force the enemy to abandon the struggle, and this without combat, through cunning, espionage, great mobility, and adaptation to the adversary's strategy.<\/div>\n
The use of various means aims for victory at the lowest cost (human and material). The ideas in Sun Tzu's work have endured throughout history. His work is now the subject of much research in the business world. Indeed, The Art of War can be applied to strategies in business, commerce, and marketing.<\/div>\n

The meetings with Mr. Yan Yongli, Director of Scientific Research, and Mr. Yao Zhenwen, Director of the Sunzi Research Center, resulted in The official launch of Sunzi's first European research center, on the AIVA site in Landersheim!<\/strong><\/div>\n

On September 13, AIVA Academy and Binzhou University signed a partnership agreement, allowing students from one institution to study at the other, and thus have the opportunity to discover a new country!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stanislas d'Eyrames and St\u00e9phane Leyenberger had the opportunity to have a long discussion with Mr. Li Chanhai, Vice-President of Binzhou University, and Mr. Yao Zhaigang, Academic Director of Binzhou University, about welcoming future students.<\/p>\n
